​Iconic Development in the heart of Frigate Bay gets green light to finish the Project 

 

BASSETERRE St. Kitts, January 20th, 2015  --  Just as most of the Federation is recovering from another frenetic ‘mas there is no rest for the busy construction team at Silver Reef. “We are delighted to announce that we are ready to start our final phase” explained Mr Sebastian Mottram, Chairman of Silver Reef St. Kitts. “They say the best things are worth waiting for and I am really pleased with the designs for these last buildings. We have worked closely local architects GHW to refine our plans to produce the highest quality product.

 The final phase will be 2 additional buildings right on the front of the resort. Each 3 bed apartment will be finished to the highest specification and is a generous 1650 square feet in size. They are our premium product with uninterrupted views over the golf course, access to the resort’s 3 beautiful pools and only moments away from the beach.
 
We are particularly proud that to be partnering with Prime Building Contractors, a Kittitian company with an excellent track record. The soft landscaping will be carried out by Travis Merritt of Dreamworks Designs whose capable work so far has created this lovely setting today”. “Over the 8 month build cycle, I anticipate that we will have over 40 Kittitians working on the project” explained Travil Buchanan, CEO of Prime. “We have an ambitious construction timeline and are very pleased to have been chosen by the Silver Reef team to work on this project.”An informal ground breaking ceremony was held on Friday 16th January which was attended by Dianille Taylor Williams from the Ministry of Tourism.
 
“I welcome this addition to the bed stock in the Federation. Silver Reef has already proved very popular and is constantly full with a waiting list for long and short term rentals” said Ms Taylor Williams. “This standard of accommodation enhances our product in St Kitts and we are particularly pleased that it fits so well with the new Tourism strategy of Sustainable Development. When completed later this year, I understand there will be at least 16 Kittitians in full time employment on the development. On behalf of the Ministry I wish the project every success”.
