Mr. Travil Buchanan - CEO, Construction Manager, Director
With over 22 years of experience in the Construction Industry, Mr. Buchanan has upheld an excellent reputation amongst other industry professionals. He enrolled himself in online universities in construction across the continents achieving several course studies with certificates of achievements. His love for the trade got him started on mid-sized residential construction projects as a carpenter. With his technical background in carpentry and joinery combined with his field experience he was able to quickly excel into supervisory roles in multiple residential and commercial projects in the st.Kitts and Nevis construction sector.
Travil in his early years of construction, has been involved in a number of projects in the capacity of site supervisor and foreman for projects such as Calypso Bay Villas, Saddlers Secondary High School and a three(3) story apartment building in Cay Bay, St. Maarten. After 2007, he started his first company (Best Quality Construction Ltd) where he worked on the first phase of Silver Reef St.Kitts. IN 2009 the company was dissolved.
In 2010, Prime Building Contractors Ltd was birthed. We have since worked with local and international contractors and developers. Our business has grown from 0.5 million to 4.5 million net worth in six years and has been growing ever since. Today we are one of the leading local construction firms within the federation.
Our team have collectively accumulated more than 40 years of work experience in the building industry. We are involved in business development, procurement, project management and administration of the company.
The management team proactively gathers feedback, identifies changes in business environment, review work processes and communicates key learning points and company policy to all staff at regular meetings.
Over the years, we have developed a very tight working relationship with several subcontractors in all the different trades within the federation. This relationship has given us more flexibility, reliability and quality control, giving us an edge over all other construction companies.
Our guys are very experience, qualified and have engineered ability stemming from the British and North American Countries.
